The technology behind<\/h6>\n

How a biofilter works<\/h2>\n

On the concrete floor a slatted floor is installed, on top of which a plastic mesh is laid, on top of the plastic mesh 15 cm of leca is laid, on top of which 1m3 of<\/sup> BBK biofilter material perm2<\/sup> is laid. The biofilter material is inoculated with selected microorganisms. A sprinkler system is installed to irrigate the filter. The odorous airflow is directed in at the bottom and pushed upwards as completely fresh air.<\/p>\n

The temperature in the biofilter is optimally maintained at 15-35\u00b0C, which provides maximum cleaning effect and ensures that the active microorganisms effectively break down odorous substances.<\/p>\n

A BBK filter, unlike many other biofilters, cannot degrade and become inactive. Before inoculating the filter with the specific microorganisms, we perform a heat treatment that completely eliminates unwanted weed seeds, germs and other microorganisms. This ensures optimal odor removal.[\/vc_column_text]
